Boda Civil / Civil Wedding

Civil Wedding / Boda Civil

This past Saturday, March 13th, Etel and I were civilly married in a ceremony in the mayors house of Comayagua. In Latin America countries, such as Honduras, people are required to be married by the government before they can be married by the Church. Although we do not yet consider ourselves to be married, Saturday was another important step for us.

The wedding was witnessed by Etel´s brother-in-law, Fernando and her friend, Vera. Her mother, brothers and aunt also attended. Afterwards we took some pictures in Central park and in the bell tower of the cathedral. Then we continued celebrating by having lunch with her family.

Hope you enjoy with pictures below,

Mark
